Jesus washes the disciples feet - Comic

Today in R.E. I finished off my comic strip of Jesus washing the disciples feet. It was tons of fun and I used Pixton Comics. I recommend trying it sometime. I liked using Pixton because I could experience with different characters. Once I finished I put it on a Google Slideshow, I hope you love it.

If you want more information about this there is a link at the end of the Slideshow, I made.

Hat questions - Washing of the Feet

Today for R.E. I had to answer some questions. Based on the hats.
I am doing my work on when Jesus washed his disciples feet.

What were the positive parts of the story? - Yellow hat.
The positives were probably, how Simon let him wash his feet, if not he would have not had anything to do with Jesus.

What was the negatives of the story? - Black Hat.
Probably, that Jesus knew that someone was going to betray him, and hardly addressed that.

How else could Jesus have served the disciples? Besides washing their feet. - Green Hat.
Maybe by preparing and making the food, Because that isn't as messy as all that foot mud.

What emotions do you feel? Why? - Red hat
Not many feelings about this, to be honest. Otherwise, maybe, intriguing because you want to know why besides the money, Judas wants to betray him.

Summarise the story in my own words - Blue hat
Jesus and the disciples were eating the meal. Jesus already knew that Judas was going to betray him, tomorrow. Jesus got off his seat and took off his jacket, he then slung a towel over his shoulder. He grabbed a bowl and placed it under one of the disciples feet. He then started washing them, once he reached Simon Peter, he asked "Lord, are you going to wash my feet?"
Jesus replied with "Unless I wash you, you have no part of me."
Simon Peter answered by saying "You may as well give me a bath."
Though Jesus explained that you are only clean when your feet are washed.
Once he finished washing feet, he put his jacket back on, and returned to the table.
He asked them if they understood why he did that, which was because that leaders should serve others. And that  anyone who accepts me, accepts the one who sent me.

Who/What/Where/When/Why
Who?
Jesus and his disciples. Because Jesus washed his disciples feet.

What?
What they did was Jesus washing his feet.

Where?
At the Last Supper with his disciples.

When?
Holy Thursday, the day he knew he would be betrayed.

Why?
He said that if he didn't wash their feet, they would having nothing to do with them.

What is your understanding?

Rosary Beads

Yesterday my group Kata and Kade, made a slideshow on the rosary. It was about where the specific prayers go on the Rosary. We traced a set of Rosary beads and the pointed arrows towards the beads of where they go. We knew where the Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be go. We just had to find out where the Fatima Prayer went. I found out that it goes with the Glory Be at the start of every mystery.

Here is our slideshow, hope you like it.

manners 2.0

This time these manners are not what we say but what we do physically.
Such as opening the door for someone, chewing with your mouth closed, being quiet at a public place, waiting patiently, Etc.
I did a slideshow and every slide had a different manner we can do and how we can do them.

Did you like my slideshow? What other manners do you know that you can do?

marvellous manners

W.A.L.T.  Being Respectful by using manners in what we say.
Our virtue for this week at our school is Respectful so we did a DLO on manners. I did a slide show I hope you enjoy it.
For now I will tell you a little bit about manners, Manners are something we do and say.
Waving, opening a door, these are examples of things you do physically, saying excuse me, sorry, your welcome, pardon are examples of things we say to show manners.
Manners are things that keep the world together, people would not be able to work side by side if there were no manners. I need to work on the manner excuse me because I always interrupt adults.

What manner do you have to work on?

R.E. Advocate, Comforter and Spirit!

Today in class we were doing some r.e. we went in pairs I went with Tallulah and we had to do this activity where we had to explain if the Holy Spirit was the comforter, advocate or the spirit  and with different reasons.

In the bible scriptures John was referring to different people (or thing) and we had to right down the reason and which one was he talking about (spirit, comforter or the advocate).

For the first and second one John was talking about 2 different characters the first one was the comforter and the second was the spirit.
(The rest of them were mainly the spirit and the advocate.)

The advocate is like a comforter but the advocate was not comforting all it did was say the spirit will come when I leave, the advocate also supports the man.

The spirit is like the a replacement for the comforter and the advocate, but twice as good.

The comforter is the person who is says comforting words and makes the person better.
