Today for Maths I made a slideshow on the History of New Zealand Currency. I won't give any spoilers so check it out. Do you know any other reasons these people were put on the notes?

Kia ora Jennah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your work to your blog. I had no idea that the NZD was introduced in 1967, that doesn't seem so long ago. Do you know why they were using pounds as currency before that?
I love how your information is displayed, it is so easy to read and it all makes sense. I also love how your information as images to support it and you have only used a couple of different colours.
Do you know where NZ money is made?
Keep up the great work.
Miss Holland
Hi Miss Holland,
Deletethanks so much for commenting.
I thought it was a bit early to but then I quizzed my Dad on it and he said around 1960's so I assumed it was right. Also over 5 Google websites said it was right.
I don't know why they were using pounds, I will find that out.
I heard it was designed here and made in Canada, I am not sure if it is true. I'll find that out too.
Thanks again.
Jennah
Very informative Jennah. I also didn’t know we changed in 1967. However I do remember Nana telling my about using British pounds as a kid.
ReplyDeleteGreat work - keep it up
