My Ocean Voyage

If I was to go on an Ocean Voyage and could only take 10 items of food, I would take:
- can of beans
- muesli bar
- cookies
- fruit (sort of fruit that does not have to be kept in a fridge)
- Vegetables (ones that do not have to be kept in fridge)
- canned food
- bread
- spreads (marmite, peanut butter, jam, honey that sort of thing)
- chips
- cheese
what items would you bring?

You have done an excellent job creating this list of 10 food items you would bring with you on a sea voyage with no refrigerator or freezer!
Canned beans, muesli bars, canned food, spreads and chips would all be excellent items to pack as they are non-perishable food items that would last a long time.
Fruit and vegetables are also great additions to your list as they contain high amounts of vitamins and minerals, and will therefore help you avoid the disease of scurvy!
I am not sure how well the cheese will last on a hot boat for 3 weeks. Without a refrigerator, it might go a bit stinky!
Out of all of the ingredients you have chosen, which one is your favourite?
What kinds of meals would you make out of these ingredients?
If I were going on this sea voyage, I would pack peanut butter. I eat peanut butter every morning, and don’t think I could go a day without it! Plus, peanut butter is full of good, healthy fats, has tons of protein, and lasts a while before expiring.

    1. Hi Kieryn, thank you very much for your feedback.
Out of all the ingredients I would make baked beans and spaghetti, since it would be in a can. My favourite item of food would have to
      chips.
I agree about the peanut butter, Peanut butter is delicious.
      Aloha
