ReplyDeleteKa pai on creating this poem about being Neil Armstrong on the moon! You really envisioned yourself as an astronaut and this has resulted in a great poem!
Have you ever imagined what it would be like to walk on the moon with no gravity?
I imagine that it would be the same feeling you get when you walk through water. It feels light, yet heavy at the same time, and it seems as though you could just float away, yet you are still weighed down.
You have used some lovely, descriptive words in your poem. I especially liked your use of the words ‘outrageously awesome’, ‘dazzling’ and ‘imagine’ as they all are words I could imagine thinking whilst standing on the moon!
Perhaps you could draw an image of the view you would see from the moon and upload it to your blog post. This would add a lovely pop of colour to your post, and reiterate what you are talking about in your poem!
Have you ever wanted to be an astronaut? Why/why not?
It would be great if you could reply to this comment and let me know!
