Kia ora Jennah, this is Kieryn from the Summer Learning Journey.
ReplyDeleteWell done for creating this blog post about your family and where they came from.
It is so cool how you have some Argentinian and American in your blood from your Grandad!
Have you ever been to either of those places to visit?
I see that your father and his parents are all from Greymouth on the West Coast of New Zealand. Greymouth is such a lovely place, and there is a small town located close by called Hokitika which has the most spectacular beaches!
I really enjoy going to the beach to relax and play my ukulele. Do you enjoy going to the beach? If so, what is your favourite thing to do there?
I look forward to your response!
Nga mihi
Hi Kieryn,
DeleteThank you for your compliment.
I have never been to Argentina or America but I will go there some day.
My Uncle (who was born in Greymouth) lives in Hokitika. I have been to Hokitika and there beaches are nice but some can be dangerous, since they can wash you of the rocks/beaches.
I love going to the beach, I live really close.
MY favourite thing to do is Surf.
Aloha Kieryn.
Jennah this is an interesting post and I enjoyed your response to Kieryn.
DeleteEven though I am from Auckland I have been to Hokitika too and I think the beach is awesome. I am not sure I would want to swim there as I am partial to the warm North Island beaches!
I have also been to New Brighton beach this year and I thought it was spectacular too. I was a bit early for a visit to your school so i went fo a walk along the beach. Gorgeous scenery and a very cold wind in Winter.
Do you surf on a boogey board or a surf board?
Have a great day
