Similes

For the Summer Learning Journey Teaser week we had to create similes.
A simile uses like or as to make a comparison, An example: The ball streaked across the field like a meteor.

First simile
Usain Bolt is as fast as a cheetah.

Second simile
A giraffe is as tall as the Eiffel tower.

Third Simile
The pencil was as sharp as an arrow

fourth simile
The monkey was as loud as a siren

Do you have any other similes?

  1. Hi Jennah, I think you have done a wonderful job explaining and presenting your work. It was simple to read and understand and your examples were great. Next time you could include more examples. I have some examples of similes.
The clouds were as fluffy as a pillow.
I swam like a fish in the water.

To support my learning I ask you to comment as follows:
1. Something positive - Begin with a greeting. Talk about something you like about what I have shared.
2. Thoughtful - A comment that will mean something to me to let me know you read/watched or listened to what I had to say. - use any language.
3. Something helpful - Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
Encourage me to make another post
